Overview

Plan a trip to Gokova Bay, which is known for its beautiful white sand beach. The island includes ancient ruins as well as many tiny coves and stunning scenery. You may enjoy swimming in the remote bays of this protected national resort, which is devoid of any large harbours. A 30-minute drive via rural pinewoods, farms, and then to Gokova Bay’s sandy beaches will take you to Icmeler, Armutalan, or Marmaris. Then you’ll sail on traditional Turkish wooden boats for approximately 50 minutes before reaching Cleopatra Island.

From May to October, a trip to Cleopatra Island from Marmaris is offered every day. Following your arrival on the gorgeous Cleopatra Island, you are given a B.B.Q lunch and can spend approximately 3 hours relaxing and enjoying yourself around the area. You may sunbathe, unwind, swim, and have fun. The squeaks of the yellow sands may be heard while you stroll across the pink dunes. This unique sand is nowhere to be found elsewhere in the world; it’s been said that it proliferates on its own! The white sands of this beach are so fine and bright that it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Turkish government protects the sand at Cleopatra Beach, which means you can’t take any with you when you leave. Even towels are prohibited from entering the beach since the sand will adhere to them! It’s worth seeing the ancient ruins of the amphitheatre, temple, and fortifications from Roman times, besides enjoying nature and relaxing on the lovely beaches.

Beautiful lakeside cruise boats sail through gorgeous water, offering the best mix of green and blue hues imaginable. Being on this tranquil body of water provides you with a unique combination of emotions that you haven't felt in a long time. Koycegiz Lake has a surface area of 5200 hectares, making it one of the biggest lakes in Aegean, Turkey. This smooth body of water gets its source from the Dalaman River and thermal springs, which sustain many endemic species such as loggerhead turtles, Nile turtles, kingfishers, egrets, pine and sweetgum forests.

Mad Bath
Playing in the mud baths in Dalyan is a lot of fun. After visiting these mud baths, some individuals claim to feel ten years younger. It is supposed that taking a mud bath here has health benefits. Don't be concerned!!! There are showers located nearby where you may wash the mud off yourself before leaving this location.

Turtle Beach Dalyan
The Iztuzu beach is widely known as the ‘Turtle Beach with Golden Sands.' This 7 km long stretch of beachfront is one of the last nesting sites for the extinct Loggerhead Caretta Caretta Sea Turtles. Between a lake (freshwater) and a sea (salty water), this unique beach resides.
